Suspiria (2018) - Official Trailer

Suspiria is an upcoming supernatural horror film directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by David Kajganich. It is a remake of the 1977 film of the same name by Dario Argento, which in turn is based on the 1845 book 'Suspiria de Profundis' by Thomas De Quincey. Jessica Harper starred in the original film, and has been cast here in a different role. The lead singer of Radiohead, Thom Yorke, is composing the film's score.

A remake of "Suspiria" was originally announced in 2008, with David Gordon Green attached to direct. However, plans were scrapped due to financing conflicts. In September 2015, Luca Guadagnino confirmed his plans to direct, with the film being described as an "homage" rather than a direct remake.

"Suspiria" will hold its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September 2018. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 2, 2018, by Amazon Studios.
